Delivery platform ne kitna kaata, yeh pata hai.Mahine mein kitna bacha, yeh nahi.

GeniusCFO books the POS day-end report, the delivery platform’s statement, the purchase bills and the bank, every day, into one set of books.

Every entry booked, debits and credits, with the document it came from. Bank matched. Food cost from the bills you paid. GST prepared from the same books. Ask what the month left and the answer carries its document. Your accountant reviews everything, and still files.

Ask GeniusCFO answering whether the business is profitable this year, with profit before tax, margin and revenue growth, and a note that every figure traces to posted journal entries ASK WHAT THE MONTH LEFTThe answer carries its document ↗

01 · The papers

What you bring: the papers the counter already produces.

The day-end report from the POS, the partner payout statement from each delivery platform, the card machine’s settlement, the purchase bills including the vegetable vendor’s handwritten one, the gas, rent and salary records, and your bank statement. Upload them as they are: PDF, Excel, scans or photos. Around 15 Indian document types are read.

02 · What it becomes

Documents in. Books out.

The same papers, booked, matched, costed and answered. Four screens, in the order the work happens.

Every entry, booked.

Sales from the day-end report, each deduction on the payout statement, the card settlement and every purchase bill are booked as entries with debits and credits. Each entry carries the document and the line it came from, so any number can be traced back in one click.

Bank matched.

Statement lines are compared with the entries in the books. The net payout that landed is matched to the statement it came from, the card settlement to its slips; mismatches are surfaced, not buried, and the reconciliation is completed in place.

Food cost from the bills you paid.

The vegetable, meat, dairy and packaging bills are booked as purchases from the bills themselves, cash or not. The month’s cost of materials is a figure read off the Statement of Profit and Loss, not a percentage guessed from the POS. Your accountant reviews the entries.

03 · The month

Why today’s number is not the month’s.

The drawer, the card machine and the delivery platform each tell you today. None of them sees the bills you paid this morning, and the statement arrives a week later with its own list of cuts. The books, current every day, are where the three streams and the purchase side meet.

30 Sep
Service. Cash in the drawer, cards in the machine, the rest with the delivery platform.
01 Oct
The card settlement lands, net of the machine’s charge.
02 Oct
The vegetable vendor’s bill, paid in cash at the back door.
06 Oct
The partner payout lands for the week, net of commission, GST on it, discounts, ads, fees, TDS and refunds.
09 Oct
A Thursday offer’s restaurant share, found on the statement.
Saturday
The accountant comes, enters what he is given, and leaves.

With the books current every day, Saturday starts from books that are done.

04 · Your accountant

The 11th and the 20th, from current books.

Every delivery-listed outlet is GST-registered and files monthly: GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th. Because the books are current, the GST workspace already shows what is payable this month, with the platform’s commission and the GST on it booked from the statement. Your accountant reviews the same books, in the same workspace, and files.

Journal entries listing with debits, credits and narration open for review
Your accountant sees the same books.

Your accountant can review the entries, source records, reports and GST information in the same workspace you use.

Supporting notes and source records attached to accounting entries
Every entry has a source.

Entries are prepared from your business documents and bank activity, and the underlying record stays attached for review.

Dashboard insight showing unclaimed input tax credit and supplier filing details
You find out early.

Because the books stay current, payment, tax and cash issues show up while there is still time to act on them.

Your accountant still files. And still reviews everything. The POS stays.

09 · Questions

Questions restaurant owners ask first.

Does GeniusCFO connect to my POS or to the delivery platforms?
No. There is no connector. You upload the POS day-end report and each delivery platform's payout statement as files, with your purchase bills and bank statement, and GeniusCFO books every line in them. Documents of any kind go in; current books come out.
Which papers do I need each month?
The day-end report from the POS, the partner payout statement from each delivery platform, the card machine's settlement, your purchase bills including the handwritten ones, the gas, rent and salary records, and your bank statement. PDF, Excel, scans and photos are all read.
Does my accountant still do my GST?
Yes. GeniusCFO prepares the GST information from your books: output GST, input tax credit, net payable, return status and mismatches. Your accountant reviews the same books in the same workspace and files the returns. Nothing here replaces your accountant, and the POS stays.
How are the delivery platform's deductions handled?
Each line on the payout statement, commission, GST on the commission, discount share, ads, order fees, TDS and refunds, is booked as its own entry with debits and credits, carrying the statement it came from. The net payout is then matched to the credit in your bank.
Where does the food cost figure come from?
From the purchase bills you upload, cash or not. The vegetable, meat, dairy and packaging bills are booked as purchases from the bills themselves, so the month's cost of materials is a figure from documents, not an estimate from the POS. Your accountant reviews the entries.
What does the ₹9 trial include?
Seven days of full access to everything, bookkeeping, GST information, bank matching, alerts and Ask GeniusCFO, on your own books. You pay ₹9 once on Razorpay, sign up, and start the same day. There is no UPI mandate and nothing is charged automatically afterwards.
What happens after the seven days?
Nothing is charged automatically. You choose a plan inside the product. If you don't, the AI stops while your books, statements and GST screens keep working, and nothing is deleted.
Why does the trial cost ₹9?
Because a free trial brought in fake sign-ups and people who worked through the AI credits meant for trials without any intention of using the product. A small payment keeps the trial for real businesses and keeps the AI allowance available to them.
Can I use GeniusCFO on my phone?
Yes. GeniusCFO works on phone and desktop, so you can check business numbers, alerts and answers wherever you are, and ask questions by voice.
